Prize Draw Rules

• Closing Date and Time:  Each month’s prize draw will close at midnight on the last day of each month and the next month’s draw will start immediately afterwards.

• Method of Entry and Cost: 

• The prize draw can only be entered on line at the Countywide Driving School (Guildford) website and is conditional on a valid, acceptable testimonial being submitted for publication on the website and in our e-newsletters.  Only one entry per unique phone number (you will be asked to give your phone number as part of submitting your testimonial).  The prize draw is free.

• Testimonials that are incomplete, incorrect, incomprehensible, invalid or not received by Countywide Driving School (Guildford) will be void and therefore not qualify for entry to the prize draw.

• Prize:

• Each monthly prize will be a £25 Cash Reward. 

• The first entry drawn at random from all eligible testimonials will win the prize.  The winner will be contacted on their phone number immediately following the end of each month.  Countywide Driving School (Guildford) will not amend contact information provided.  Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner.  Failure to respond and/or provide an address for delivery may result in forfeiture of the prize.  If the prize draw winner cannot be contacted, or is unable to comply with these rules, Countywide Driving School (Guildford) reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant.

• The following contacting procedure will apply: the potential winner will be called at least three times (at three different times of day) per day including on a weekend for the first week after the end of each month, then once per day (Monday to Friday at different times of day) for the following two weeks and three times (Monday to Friday at different times of day) during the fourth week after the end of each month.  If the potential winner cannot be contacted after at least twenty-eight days or if they are unable to comply with these rules, a second potential winner will be selected and the above calling procedure will be applied again.  If that second potential winner cannot be contacted after at least twenty eight days, a third potential winner will be selected and so on.

• Any person who is an immediate family member of a Countywide Driving School (Guildford) driving instructor is ineligible to participate.

• By submitting their testimonial, entrants will be deemed to have read and understood these rules and be bound by them.

• The prize draw is only open to past and present pupils of Countywide Driving School (Guildford) driving instructors who have undertaken a course of at least 10 hourly driving lessons and/or taken the practical driving test.

• Entrants must be at least 17 years of age.

• All decisions of Countywide Driving School (Guildford) will be final and binding.  No correspondence will be entered into.

• No responsibility will be taken by Countywide Driving School (Guildford) for any testimonials that are incomplete, incorrect, incomprehensible, invalid or not received.

• If for any reason the advertised prize is unavailable, Countywide Driving School (Guildford) reserves the right at its absolute discretion to substitute a similar prize of equivalent or greater value.  None of the prizes may be exchanged or transferred and no cash alternative will be offered.  Only one prize will be awarded per person.  Please allow 28 days for delivery of all prizes.

• As the prizes are to be provided by a third party, winners will be required to complete all appropriate formalities directly with the third party.  Countywide Driving School (Guildford) will have no responsibility for the acts or defaults of any other persons.

• Countywide Driving School (Guildford) reserves the absolute right to disqualify any entrant who it considers has used improper technical means to enter.

• Use and Protection of Your Personal Information:
  
  Countywide Driving School (Guildford) recognises that your privacy is important to you and uses latest technologies & best practices to secure all personal information.  Countywide Driving School (Guildford) aims to preserve your privacy at all times and will not disclose your personal information to third parties unless it is required to do so by law or it, in good faith, believes that such action is necessary to:
  • Comply with the law or with legal process
  • Protect and defend our rights and property
  • Protect against misuse or unauthorised use of the Countywide Driving School (Guildford) website
  • Protect the personal safety or property of our customers or the public (among other things,
  this means that if you provide false registration information or attempt to pose as someone 
  else, information about you may be disclosed as part of any investigation into your actions)

• Where required to do so, Countywide Driving School (Guildford) may pass on your personal information to a legal or regulatory body.
